"Everybody's Been Recalled"

It would have been a bad thing plotwise if our intrepid firemen were rescuing people when the buildings turned to dust and they got killed.

So, as firemen from all over the city were rushing to the scene and climbing those towers,firemen from this particular firehouse were being recalled to the station.
